About: The Wisteria Pergola is one of the most popular locations for weddings within the Garden. It’s situated behind the main lawn of the Conservatory and is flanked by two staircases. Its wrought iron arches are intertwined with wisteria branches which bloom with purple flowers every May. This location offers bench seating for guests and is recommended for larger groups.
Restored in the late 1980’s, the Conservatory Garden’s six acres are made up of three distinct areas: the South Garden, Wisteria Pergola and the North Garden. The Conservatory Garden is one of the most popular locations for a Central Park wedding. Holding your wedding in the Garden allows you to take photographs throughout, which includes 30 minutes of photography time on the main lawn. The best times for weddings here range from early spring to mid-October. Please note that the Conservatory Garden requires a permit fee of $500.00, which is in addition to our package prices.
