Julia and Paul traveled from Australia for their winter wedding in Central Park. Although the couple had initially planned on a long engagement, they began to joke about getting married while on their upcoming trip to New York City. They began to grow fond of the idea and decided that Gapstow Bridge would be the perfect place to tie the knot. The couple exchanged vows on a chilly December afternoon with beautiful city views behind them. After posing for photographs around the park and inside the nearby Pierre Hotel lobby, the newlyweds rode off in a horse and carriage and later celebrated with dinner at The Mark.
